A few days before Christmas, the hot water heater decided to retire. It was leaking. A replacement was certainly necessary. With a seller side homeowner warranty in place, included with every listing, I made the call to First American Home Warranty.

I spoke with Sarah at Capital Plumbing. She was a fantastic first contact and introduction to the company. Sarah helped to set up an appointment for replacement that day.
In a matter of hours the technician, Mike, arrived as scheduled. Capital Plumbing & Mechanical’s vehicles are clearly marked as it states on their website. Mike was a pro - clean uniform, polite, and an incredible source of knowledge. I asked for his name without realizing it was embroidered on his uniform. It was right in front of me. I’m getting old.
I’m pretty sure he doesn’t get paparazzi during most of his jobs. However, when you replace a hot water heater, you’re a star.
Mike, with Capital Plumbing & Mechanical, is a true professional. He was gracious enough to help me learn something about the fix, the industry and even the house. His work went beyond a hot water tank replacement. It was a learning experience that helped improve my career with new knowledge.
